Seafood Restaurant

We have not been to Myrtle Beach in about 5 or 6 years. Where is a good place to go for seafood. We stay in the Shore Drive area, and wouldn%26#39;t mind driving down to Calabash. But, there are so many resaturants, we want to pick the right one. Any suggestions?

There are a couple really good ones in Little River. Both on the River and very casual. Crabcatchers and Capt. Juels. Crabcatchers has best raw oysters and blue crabs (if still in season).

Thanks. I read some good reviews for Captain Nance%26#39;s in Calabash. Have you been there? I will look into the others you recommended. Thanks for your help

Captain Nance%26#39;s is wonderful, as is the Dockside in Calabash. My family has always been partial to Becks, as well.

We love Captain Nance%26#39;s!!! Have been there numerous times and enjoyed it every time.

If you go to Calabash, be prepared for a fried seafood meal. That%26#39;s what they do best....fried %26#39;calabash%26#39; style cooking. If you are looking for grilled, blackened, fish, raw oysters, steamed clams, etc...Calabash is probably not the best choice (in my opinion).

We are looking for the unhealthy fried calabash shrimp, hushpuppies, etc. Thanks for the input. Leaving on Saturday and looking forward to rest and relaxation!

Ever try the Sea Captains House in Myrtle? Close to where you are staying.

You can review their menu on the web

Dont rule out Landry,s or Bonefish Grille, you will be pleasantly surprised.
