I here the river city cafe is THE place to go. What is your favorite burger? Do they have one with bbq sauce on it with cheddar cheese? The one at Surfside is good??

River City is very good! Onion rings are a must! They have every kind of burger you can imagine...from a pimento cheeseburger to even a peanut butter burger! They have a BBQ bacon cheeseburger so you can get that without the bacon. I like the grilled onion bacon cheeseburger! The Surfside location is probably my favorite one. Enjoy!

I think it%26#39;s all good!!! Onion rings, bacon cheddar burger and black %26amp; blue burger are my personal favs.

We ate there last summer and all four of us HATED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think we must be the only ones though. The service was horrible and none of us could finish our meal - we had our 19 %26amp; 25 year old sons with us who love hamburgers %26amp; onion rings. You only get about three onion rings because they are so huge. It is nothing but no taste breading. The guys were just telling some friends about it over Memorial Day saying that was the worst meal they have ever had.

I was always a big fan of River City, except for the onion rings which have no taste. Flavorless. Last time down, last July, service was poor and burgers seemed smaller. Later, I read on Myrtle Beach Golf Association%26#39;s website (www.mbga.com) - which reviews area restaurants, as well as courses - that a corporation took over River City and it hasn%26#39;t been the same. Maybe we hit it on a bad day.

I went to River City at Surfside this past Sunday, thought everything was delicious but the service was a little slow.

We really like River City Cafe. Though, I don%26#39;t think we all got burgers though. My husband had a ';Porker'; it was a really big ham sandwhich with cheese (I think) my daughter really like her Hogie. Everyone enjoyed their meal when we went. What I like is the view, in Surfside, the resturant is on the 2nd floor and is right on the beach, so you can look out over the ocean. Most places whould be big $$$, for the view. They give you a big basket of peanuts which you throw the shells on the floor (or at each other)---just don%26#39;t sit out on the balcony and throw them at the people below---;-)----the people down there aren%26#39;t too happy with that. We go there every year when we go in July and have always enjoyed it. They prices are fairly reasonable. Try something different then a burger---a lot to choose from!

On our trip the burgers were great. I could feel my arteries clogging when I saw all the grease left in the bottom of the onion ring basket. My family seemed to have a good time there. Any time you can throw peanut shells on the floor my nephew is entertained.

I guess i will just have to take a chance. If it is not any good. i will know not to go back. I just don%26#39;t want buffet. I can get that at home.

Want something a little different than what I can get at home.

I do like Bubba%26#39;s Fish Shack for a small , inexpensive meal.
