Tell me about Crescent Beach.

I understand that our hotel is near Crescent Beach. What is there? I assume that there is an ice cream shop/ swimsuit store/ pub with seafood. What can you tell me?

It%26#39;s in a good location. You won%26#39;t be disappointed. Not exactly sure where the Cresent Beach stoplight is on Ocean Blvd but it should be a few blocks to the south. Probably walking distance. Yes there is a beach shop and snack shop there.

Fifteen blocks to the north(Approx, a mile) is Main Street Ocean Drive. Larger selection of shops and eatories.

At either light you can drive out to Rt 17 in a matter of seconds. At the end of Main Street there is a Krogers on the left and another store on the right. Maybe a Bi/Lo. Can%26#39;t remember. Turn right onto Rt 17 and a mile or two to the north is a Food Lion on the right.

Go back to Ocean Blvd. Go on to the north to the third stoplight at Sea Mtn Hiway.. That%26#39;s Cherry Grove. At this intersection you have Boulineau%26#39;s IGA which is worth a stop just for the heck of it. If you want or need it, they have it. Pick up your free tide chart book here.

Across the street fro Boulieau%26#39;s on Sea Mtn is Basil%26#39;s Pizza. Good pizza and sandwiches. Tables outside. Fun to eat and just watch beach traffic.

Two blocks out Sea Mtn on the left is Duffy Street Seafood Shack. They have a location down on Main Street but this one is more fun. If possible get a table upstairs on the deck.

Also on Sea Mtn is Captain';s Plank Buffet and Tar Baby%26#39;s for breakfast. I%26#39;ll quit now or you%26#39;ll spend all your time in Cherry Grove.

From Cresent Beach on Rt 17 you%26#39;ll go south to the major attractions. Mile or two south is Grand Prix Go Karts. Just below that is Alligator Adventure and Barefoot Landing. All on the right.

Another couple miles is Kings Road and Tanger Outlet Stores. Just below that is by-pass 17. Take the by-pass and a couple miles you%26#39;ll see Broadway At The Beach on the left.

Actually there%26#39;s an ice cream shop and beachwear store on 17th Ave. S. near Ocean Boulevard in the center of the Crescent Beach section of NMB. Tons of them in the general area.

Yep. That%26#39;s where I thought it was looking at the map. Coming up Rt 17 we always turn in at 25th Ave south (Rt65) just to get off of the busy 17.

I never really paid attention to where the Cresent Beach stoplight was at. Just knew it was there. lol

Thanks guys. Do you know anything about King%26#39;s Pizza? Someone suggested that we try that.
