We have rented a condo in IOP for the end of June. I have never been before and would like recommendations for things considered must see/must do. Plus, we would like to try and have a family portrait done. Photographer ideas?Is there a Sams Club anywhere near IOP or where is the closest grocery store? .Any infor would be greatly appreciated.
Going to IOP at end of month...
On the IOP the beach is the main attraction, there are some restaurants and shopping also. The big activities are in downtown Charleston (about 20min by car), IMAX theater, carriage rides, historic tours, museum, aquarium, lots of shopping and lots of excellent restaurants. Sam%26#39;s is about 30 min (or more, depending on traffic) away from IOP. There is a small grocery store on the island and the nearest large grocery store is about 5 min away across the IOP connector bridge, a Piggly Wiggly. (yes, that is the real name, a large chain here) Also over the connector bridge is Towne Center Mall, a rather large mall with a 16 screen theater.
To locate a photographer - on the web look up ';bell south yellow pages'; once you get to that enter ';charleston'; and ';photograhers'; and you should get some names and numbers.
