The wife and I stayed at Monterey Beach on June 13th. The view from the 14th floor was AWESOME! The room we were in was a bit dated but we were more interested in the view and price, it was clean and fit our needs. It was so nice to be able to wake up in the morning and walk on the beach. We did not have any problems with waits at the elevators no more than a few minutes I had longer waits at the Drury Inn. We ate at Villa Romana it was awesome, I would highly recommend anyone to eat there. We may be going back to North Carolina next year to visit family and if so we are planning on going back to Myrtle Beach for a few nites and take the kids this time, they would love it.
