The Mariott sets on the ocean at 82nd Ave N...you could walk down Ocean Blvd to 79th Ave N and then over to Kings Hwy (2 blocks) at this corner you will have a few options. The K%26amp;W Cafeteria, the Great American Steak Buffet and Applebees set off to the right, to the left are a few of my favs...Collectors Cafe, The Palms, and City Bar...and an ol standby (good hotdogs) Sams Corner...just across the street there, is Liberty Tap Room and Grille, Villa Mare and China Dragon (more favs)...also an Atlanta Bread, TGI Fridays. Pizza Hut and grocery store.

If you walk down the beach from the Mariott, you have Ultimate California Pizza (UCP) at the Sands Resort, River City there at 73rd Ave N, Martins and Starbucks all about 75th Ave N. Then there is a locals fav hangout...not bad burgers, cold beer and frozen beach drinks...live music Wed - Sun 1p to 5p (Tony Blunt) at St Clements.
