Planning on celebrating the big ';40'; in Charleston. It will just be an overnight trip. Looking for opinions on The Holiday Inn on Calhoun or the Hampton Inn Historic District. We will be going to either the rooftop for drinks at The Marketplace Hotel or Vendue Inn, any thoughts on one or the other. Also, looking for suggestions on dinner. Thinking about The Fleet? Looking for suggestions.
Birthday in Charleston
Either hotel is good, actually if it is a big birthday, I would splurge as much as you can. Rooftop drinks at Marketplace or Vendue are both good...Vendue is probably more relaxed, and Marketplace is more dressy. Dinner at Fleet is good too.Also try Peninsiula Grill or Hanks for dinner. Make sure to tell the matrie%26#39;d it%26#39;s your birthday to get something special.
