any good salons in Surfside area (or anywhere else for that matter)? i need to get my hair cut short, and i don%26#39;t think i%26#39;ll have time before we leave...

Not familiar with any in the Surfside area...but the place that I have been going to for a numbr of years is the Dunes Hair Design...located in MB just off Kings Hwy just past 62nd Ave N...all of the stylists there are great...small shop, but really good service!

A few great places to recommend for a wonderful massage...I really like the staff at ';He%26#39;s Not Here'; located on Broadway Ave, just off Rt 501 as you come into MB. This has been promoted as a ';male spa'; but a number of women frequent the place there. Patty and her staff are wonderful! Just next door is Victoria Dianes, which is a womens only spa.

If you are staying more to the north end, you may want to try out the Hibiscus Spa at the Mariott...ask for Andy, he is really good!

A bit south of MB just off the Bypass is her Body and Soul...another great place!
