To MBConcierge...

Haven%26#39;t seen you on in a couple of days...just wanted to make sure you made it through the bike rally. :-) Memorial Day weekend was most definately a crazy one! Hope all is well!

To MBConcierge...

Made it thru just fine! In fact went down to Kirks Ice Cream Parlor there near 61st Ave N, had my Nutty Cococut ice Cream (YUM!) and sit and watched the bikes go by on Saturday night! Had to make a grocery run to the Bi-lo there on 38th N earlier in the day, and actually had a group of bikes parked next to my car, and the young gents loaded all my groceries into my car!

Didnt get a chance to work on the board this weekend, we have a sailboat that we needed to have some work done on the bottom (bottom paint and an insurance survey) before the season really gets going, so was busy with that.

So...how was your holiday?

:)

To MBConcierge...

I have to ask directions on getting to Kirk%26#39;s Ice Cream parlor- it must be a great place for ice cream. I will be in the Kingston Plantation area. Thanks for directions!

My holiday was great thank you. A little crazy with traffic at times but nothing major. I live very close to that Bi-Lo...that was very sweet of those guys to help you. I love Kirk%26#39;s Ice Cream myself and yes that is a great place to go to people watch! Glad to have you back onboard! :-)

Thanks, Bob! We%26#39;ll have to get together sometime and compare notes! Maybe over ice cream! ha! And for the directions for the above poster...its a really easy drive...from Kignston, jump on Rt 17 south....when you come to where you have the option of going business 17 or staying on the Bypass...you want to stay to the left of that split..(Dixie Stampede will be on your right)...continue down to just past the light at 62nd Ave N....Exxon Gas on one corner, and the old Dairy Queen (closed) on the opposite...you will see Kirks on your right just past the Food Lion (grocery), Enjoy!

:)

Yes, we will definitely have to do that sometime MBC! :-)

We will have to go to Kirks or our favorite restaurant...Hot Fish Club! :-)

Hey, MBConcierge, you peaked my interest with that ';nutty coconut'; ice cream! What exactly is that combination? I LOVE anything coconut! Coming down week of July 2.

Love the Hot Fish Club! Man...thats a toss up! ha! Shrimp and Grits or Nutty Coconut Ice Cream.....hmmmmm! Guess it would depend on who was playing at the Gazebo there at Hot Fish! ha!

As for the Nutty coconut...its awesome coconut icecream with almonds mix in...on one of the homemade waffle cones...man, you cant go wrong with that choice...almost like an Almond Joy without the chocolate!

:)

Wow - I thought I was the only one on the planet who loves coconut ice cream! Will be in MB in mid-August and will certainly check out that ice cream place!

MBC,

How would we get to Kirks from the Sea Island?
