I-95 Hotels from Savannah to Florence?

We%26#39;re planning a last minute trip to Williamsburg, Va, leaving on June 22. We are staying at the Best Western Lord Paget in Williamsburg but are looking for suggestions for hotels along the way for one night.

We%26#39;ll be leaving Orlando somewhere between 3-6pm on Thursday, depending on when we can get out of work. This makes it hard to decide where we%26#39;ll stay the first night. If we leave at 6pm, we%26#39;ll only want to drive 4-5 hours. If we leave at 3pm, then we%26#39;d be willing to drive 6-7 hours.

So, we%26#39;re looking for suggestions on decent hotels between Savannah, Ga and Florence, SC from those that have done the I-95 drive. We%26#39;re not looking for fancy, just clean.

I-95 Hotels from Savannah to Florence?

The Best Western in Santee, South Carolina, is extremely nice. We have been staying there for years and have recommended it to lots of people.

It has all the normal Best Western features, but a more quiet, resort-like ambience than most. Although it is right off I-95, on the main road, it is extremely quiet and peaceful. The hotel actually backs up to a golf course or park.

The continental breakfast is served in a very attractive breakfast room, more like you might find in a B%26amp;B. The motel%26#39;s restaurant, called The Veranda, is nice for lunch or dinner.

You can%26#39;t go wrong here.
