Alberto - Cancel Trip?

We are supposed to be in Hilton Head from Tuesday to Saturday, but question whether we should cancel or not given that Alberto seems to be heading that way. Can anyone who is in the area give me an idea of what local forecasters are saying the weather will be like? Weather channel web site just says scattered thunderstorms. I don%26#39;t want to spend my only vacation of the year in the hotel room while it rains.

Alberto - Cancel Trip?

Alberto is expected to make landfall on the west coast of northern florida, and will pass west of us crossing into SC near augusta and aiken area.

Since it will be inland wind speed will slow fairly early, and what we can expect to see here are the thunderstorms that are predicted.

Beaufort County Emergency management is in stand down position.

Good weather is expected from thursday through the weekend.
