We%26#39;re heading to Myrtle Beach later this month and staying in a house in Cherry Grove. It says it%26#39;s only a block or two from the beach, but from reading the posts I wonder if we%26#39;ll have to drive about 15 minutes to get to better beaches. Anyone know if that%26#39;s the case?
Cherry Grove section
Shouldn%26#39;t be more than a five minute walk to the beach. You have an address?
Nothing wrong with the beach up through there. No need to travel else where.
Anyway it%26#39;s a straight shot out the street to the beach. Should be a public beach access at the end of most of the Ave%26#39;s. Some have public porta-potties.
If you have room in your car you might consider a small cart or wagon of some kind to help carry beach stuff to and from the beach.
Cherry Grove section
You will be very near the beach, no matter where you are located in Cherry Grove. Cherry Grove is a long peninsula between the ocean and a salt marsh. Beautiful area of the strand and all of the beaches are very clean and wide.
