we are leaving friday for the sea island from the baltimore area. plan on heading down 95 to 74 to 701 to 9 to 17. thats where i%26#39;m not sure where to go. can someone tell us what exit to get off that is close to the sea island. if anyone has a faster route we would like those directions too. You%26#39;re good for the directions so far, but I would take Rt 9 to Rt 31 (this is 6 lanes 60 mph, and lightly traveled), head south, to the Robert Grissom exit (2nd Myrtle Beach exit), this will take you to Rt 17 (alot closer than coming off 9 will), head north to the very 1st stop light, this is 62nd Ave N (Kangaroo Gas Station at this corner). Turn right (only turn you can make). Stay on 62nd all the way to the beach (less than a mile) Sea Island will be off to the right..........enjoy!
