Looking for advise from all you island experts regarding what we will find when we visit the first week of November 2006. Last year, we came to the Island during the last week of September and thought it was great. Weather was good and the crowds were small. But I was wondering if it will be much colder by November 5th and what activities and merchants will be closed for the season. Regardless, we are looking forward to our week in your part of the world. Thanks for your help.
Hilton Head Weather in November
Just about everybody is open until after thanksgiving. The only place missing may be Rita%26#39;s Ices.
Weather is generally good early in November, and many of the condo complexes have heated pools for the months of October and November. The ocean may have enough warmth left over to feel comfortable, but it is iffy.
Shannon Tanner will be gone, and Greg Russell wil be on a reduced schedule. You can get fairly good prices on golf after October.

Hilton Head Weather in November
A belated thanks to hhiguy for answering my weather question. It%26#39;s great to have someone on the island willing to answer all the tourist%26#39;s questions. I think we get much more honest answers from the locals than we do from the commercial sites. Thanks for your efforts.
