Had the great idea of traveling to Charleston for the fourth of July bash...thoughts of proposing to girlfriend here. Is this event all that it is cracked up to be? Maybe the best fireworks on the southeast? This will be our first time in Charleston....would appreciate some other beautiful points of proposal...preferably nearby water, beautful scenery...someone with some good charleston experience help me out. Thanks.
Patriots Point Fourth of July...
I would suggest the White Point Gardens, also known as Battery Park. There is a beautiful white gazebo in the center of the park that would be perfect for a proposal. This park offers extraordinary views of the Charleston Harbor. Also, across the street promises fantastic views of beautiful Charleston mansions. Enormous oak trees provide peaceful shade to the park. Weddings and other special events are frequently held at the gazebo. It makes for a beautiful place to sit and take in the beauty and charm of Charleston.
