Steamed Spiced Shrimp

My husband is a big fan of steamed spiced shrimp.... the spicier, the better! Anyone know of a place that offers this? When we go to Ocean City, MD., he goes to a local seafood market and they cook %26#39;em to order.

Steamed Spiced Shrimp

I just had a couple dozen at Duffy%26#39;s Seafood Shack in Cherry Grove. Not as spicy as I like, but I%26#39;m sure you could ask for extra %26#39;Old Bay%26#39; seasoning (or whatever spices they use). Their steamers, raw oysters and blackened fish sandwiches are great also.

Steamed Spiced Shrimp

There%26#39;s a Thai food place in town that I think does an excellent spiced shrimp! Its called Loyal Thai, in the downtown area, just off of Broadway.

:)

Gulfstream Cafe, which is a FABULOUS restaurant, has the following on their menu and they are very good!

SPICY STEAMED SHRIMP

l lb. in the shell, steamed to order with Old Bay and spices.

$9.95

Enjoy!

Yes, Gulfstream is highly reccommended....if you go before 6pm they have early-bird specials that will save you some $$$.

I%26#39;ve been noticing some bars %26amp; restaurants now have ';steaming machines'; (look like a stainless steel dishwasher) %26amp; will steam your shrimp (or whatever) to order. Unfortunately, I don%26#39;t know which MB area places do this, but they do taste fabulous right out of the steamer!

Thanks, all--this is what I%26#39;ve been looking for. I%26#39;m going to check out the Gulfstream Cafe, as it sounds the closest to what hubby likes. We%26#39;ve been to Duffy%26#39;s in Cherry Grove but it was late and neither one of us noticed them on the menu!

Yes, I strongly suggest Gulfstream Cafe...The food is excellent and it is a great place to go right at sunset as the view is absolutely breathtaking! It is the only restaurant on the Grand Strand where

you can see the ocean on one side and the inlet on the other. They have an excellent early evening menu also from 4 - 5:30 pm where you can get complete dinners under $10. The food is superb! Please check out their website at centraarchy.com/gulfstream/gulf-intro.html. You can view the menu there as well. Enjoy!

You could try flos The web is www.flosplace.com .This place is great .

Oh, yeah--that menu at Gulfstream Cafe makes my mouth water just reading it!! The Flo%26#39;s menu looks real good, too. Great suggestions--thanks!
