Visited MB from 6/3-6/9 2006

It was a great time! So much to do, so little time. We were right on the beach at Summer Winds. The kids were out every night with a ton of stuff to do. There were quite a few people, but not overcrowded. The only time you will have a problem is at night. The traffic on the main strip is bumper to bumper. Cars cruising. You can take the side streets to get to where you want a lot faster! They had the sun festival going on at that time and the huge sand castles were amazing. The water was the perfect temperature. We went fishing and crabbing. No fish, but enough crabs. We also rented a boat for the day on Ponce Inlet. It was a blast with the kids. We also went to Broadway at the Beach. We went shopping. They have unique shops and it is fun to browse. It has grown alot since the last time that we were there. Give yourself alot of time for that because they also have restaurants, mini-golf, paddle boats, movies, clubs, Imaxx, and some magic place. Have fun!

My husband and I always have a good time there. Our boys are grown now but we are still young enough to enjoy all the things MB has to offer.(mid 40%26#39;s). I love the late night walks on the beach, even just people watching. Last summer we even got to see some fireworks and It wasn%26#39;t even the 4th of July yet.

I love to go to Broadway at the beach and eat at Johnny Rockets.

Have you taken the kids there? at any given time the waiters and waitresses break out in song and dance on top of counters, back of booths. Just a good burger joint. But it gets really busy and you have to wait, but that was ok with us.

where did you go crabbing?

Pawley%26#39;s Island. It%26#39;s about 20 minutes away. Head South on 17 from MB. You will see a sign that says Pawley%26#39;s Island. Turn left at the hardware and bait store. (by McDonald%26#39;s) There is a bridge right there. You can pick the $2 traps up at Wal-mart. We also got crabs at Ponce Inlet off the boat.
