We re in the process of selecting a condo for our vacation late in July. We are looking at a place near the Breach Inlet (206 Ocean Blvd) and were wondering how the beaches are in this area and how the tide affects them. As we will have 2 small children in our group we need a beach with alot of SAND. If you think a differant area would work for us please let us know
Best BeachI think this area will be fine, the beach will be fairly wide, even at high tide. Please be aware that at the tip of the island, where Breach Inlet runs between the 2 islands, the current can be extremely strong and dangerous. I would not let this cause you to not rent there, just be aware of it. This is primarily (as I said) only at the tip of the island, you can look across the inlet and see Sullivan%26#39;s Island.
