carolina winds or compass cove?

Hi, I have finally narrowed it down to 2 hotels, just wondering if anyone could help with any feedback, Thanks in advance.

We have stayed at Carolina WInds the past two years. We love it. You can%26#39;t beat the location! Northern end of Myrtle Beach, nice residential section. Convenient to everything!

Never been to Compass Cove but it looks huge. Much bigger than Carolina Winds. If you have kids, they might enjoy Compass more.

But then again, my three had a great time at Carolina Winds.

Well we%26#39;ve stayed at compass cove and it was nice (Pinnacle building elevator was too slow however. Pinnacle has recently been updated and the Mariner building is very nice)

Never stayed at Carolina Winds, but from the rates I got when looking they are much-much-much more cheaper than Compass cove. i.e. 3-BR suite at compass would cost over $1,000 for everything for about 3 nights. Carolina is just about $800. It looks to be clean at Carolina winds.

I would check the ratings on various websites including this one, yahoo travel, expedia, etc. and just see what other people have to say. Only take into consideration the most recent reviews (06) usually a lot of changes can happen from year-to-year and some problems could have been repaired.

Both facilities seem to offer the same amenities. However Carolina seems to be not as big and in the quieter section of MB. All depends on the group you are with.
