The weather

I have been monitoring the weather........looks like rain may be moving in next week. If there%26#39;s a 60 % chance of T-storms, how likley is it to storm? All day?

The weather

Usually this time of year the t-storms are sporadic, and mainly in the late afternoon. Luckily, there are no big tropical storms looming at this point. Don%26#39;t worry about it.

The weather

The rule here is if there is an 80% chance of rain we may get wet...we%26#39;ve had 50 to 60% chance of rain for the last 3 weeks, and I think we%26#39;ve seen rain one afternoon...usually with the cooler off in the afternoon and the sea breeze kicking in, it may produce a bit of a shower, but usually (unless we go tropical!) no gully washers!

:)

I was starting to get a bit depressed when I saw the weather for next week - thanks for the clarification.

Any thoughts on that so-called ';disturbance'; by the Bahamas with ';broad circular rotation'; moving West by Northwest? Please tell me this happens all the time and it doesn%26#39;t necessarily mean anything.....

This time of year you will get a number of disturbances in the tropics...most will just produce pretty decent rain storms at the beach if they make shore, or decent waves if they dont. We have been real fortunate in the last 5 years or so not to have any major storms come our way.

The current system just north of the Bahamas is really not that organized and if we get anything from it, it may be some rain....

:)
