Were you able to get a lounge chair by the pool any time or did you have to go down around 8:00? Just curious because at most places we had to be down early.
Sea Island Tanning Lawn
We were at Sea Island the last week of May, before peak season. Personally, I did%26#39;t think they had enough lounge chairs, although plenty of regular chairs. We only had a problem getting lounge chairs one day, but I remember thinking that when the place was in peak season and busier, there wouldn%26#39;t be nearly enough. Maybe they%26#39;ve added more since we were there. Also be aware that there%26#39;s very little shade provided by trees (they%26#39;re new and small yet) and there are no umbrella tables (again, unless they%26#39;ve been added). The building provides some shade once the sun goes over to the west side of the building, but that%26#39;s not until mid to late afternoon. We enjoyed staying there, but Sea Island isn%26#39;t without some small problems (see hotel reviews on this site). I hope it%26#39;s primarily because they%26#39;re still working out the bugs since they just opened a few weeks ago.
