Hi

I am looking for a rental property on Pawleys Island. My friends and I Have been through a lot of ';stuff'; lately. We need a place to relax and enjoy the ocean and get to know Captain Morgan all over again and again. I have never stayed on Pawleys Island but I have visted the island a few times. I will sincerely appreciate all responses! S Chizum

Try ';Ducks Nest - Down'; house on the beach -- available thru Pawleys Island Realty. We%26#39;ve stayed there 3 times -- winter twice, fall once. Right on the beach, good porch, and it%26#39;s next door to the Sea View Inn where you can get some excellent Low Country meals if you ';play your cards right';

Rental properties abound--depending on the time of year you are planning to come. I am fortunate to live at Pawleys Island. On the beach last night, my guess is that almost everything is booked this week. There are 2 and 3 bedroom condos at Litchfield by the Sea ( a gated community) and many houses-some that sleep 18-20- in the Litchfield/Pawleys Area. My advice is to check the websites of the rental companies--Jimmy Smith; Pawleys Island Realty; Dunes Realty; Litchfield Real Estate; Lachicotte Real Estate all handle the rental market here and are all reputable.

They helped us pick the perfect house on Paweleys - The Beach House #136, which we have been staying in for years now. They also are helpful every year with the best new restraunts.
