myrtle beach hotel/condo

Hi all! We are a family of 4 (2 teens) and we will be in Myrtle Beach for 3 days in July. Any recommendations for a hotel (preferably beachfront or close enough to walk) that is less expensive than Breakers or Kingston?

You might check out a few of these....

Carolina Grande (across street from beach)

Dayton House

both of these are in the same area as the Breakers...within walking distance to restaurants, downtown, and tho walkable (3 miles) a short drive to get to Broadway (or you could take the bus)

You might check out www.vrbo (condo rental site) some really good deals to be had here....some place there to look for would be Forest Dunes or South Wind Villas....just thought of a few more hotels, more to the north end, but walking distance to alot of places to eat and shop....Monteray Suites (they include a really great breakfast buffet and a dessert reception in the evening in the rate!) or Grande Shores.....
