Your best bet would probably be to deal with a rental agencies. You can try ';Condoninium Rental Services'; www.condorent.com/ in NMB. I have dealt with them on several occasions and I can certainly recommend them. You might also want to try ';Vacation Rental By Owner'; www.vrbo.com/ where you can deal directly with the condo owners.

There are so many that I would not even know where to begin. The web site I have mentioned have a lots of choices of condos to choose from. The first year we rented a condo called Summer Place (I think) in the Cherry Grove section but for the last 4 years we rent a unit in a place called Windy Village in the Windy Hill section which we like better. It is a low rise oceanfront and one of the most affordable one you%26#39;ll find out there. The pool is kinda small but the kids don%26#39;t really mind since they love the ocean. We always rented through the CRS agency I mentioned above and this year we rented from vrbo and got a great deal from the owner but mind you we booked early.

While I was looking for hotels, I noticed that a lot of the ';hotels'; that are listed actually are ';condos';. I don%26#39;t know if they are privately ownded or rather they are just called condos. Sometimes some of these places aren%26#39;t maintained as well as others. So you may find yourself in a condo that hasn%26#39;t been taken care of. Try the following:

The ones through Elliott Realty are privatly owned and very well maintained. Clean and well furnished.

Any problems during the week are taken care of in matter of hours. Had refridgerator go out in a beach house. In little over an hour they had new one installed.

North Myrtle Beach is primarily condos, villas, and houses (very limited hotels). There are so many choices. Elliott Realty probably has the largest selection and their website has descriptions and photos of each unit. We generally stay in a small complex called Reflections (Cherry Grove) section and rent through Elliott. I believe the unit is A7 (first floor). Very nice pool for size of the complex...great views of salt marsh (fishing and crabbing), and about 50 yards to the beach. (2 bed, 2 bath, big kitchen, washer/dryer, nicely decorated...very %26#39;beachy%26#39;).

Crescent Shores

Hi We just got back today after few nights at the Ocean Creek Resort. We rented vrbo condo #10600. It was great, and the man who rented it was very accommodating. The grounds were beautiful too. The condo is right next to the pool and tennis courts. The resort beach was just a short drive or you could take their trolly service for free. The resort has several pools, but I am not sure if you can use them all.
