sometimes we get some of our island realtors trolling for business and they don%26#39;t get it. NO COMMERCIAL POSTING!

Travel Advisor makes this service available and sells advertising to pay for it. So they don%26#39;t look kindly to such posts.

I don%26#39;t know if got2beme read the previous post, since it may have been removed by the management as inappropiate.

He did mention Sun City Hilton Head, and it is a good choice for an active retiree. It is a 55 and over community, and the only one now in the area. However plans are afoot for Lennar to put in another community.

Even if they are not 55 only, Hilton Head Plantation, Indigo Run, Palmetto Hall, and Port Royal are all good communities to look at. They each have their own social programs and clubs and many of the residents are older. They also do not have any short term rentals, though some are second homes by part time islanders.

There are several communities off the island which might be of interest. They range from very upscale (Belfair, Berkley Hall, Colleton River, and Oldfield) to more mid level (Cresent, Eagles Point, Hampton Hall, and Moss Creek).

When you come here take a look. You may want to rent for awhile while looking for that perfect community.
