Mansfield Plantation

Has anyone stayed at or heard about the b%26amp;b Mansfield plantation. May be heading down in July. Also any recommendations on where NOT to eat, or do.

Mansfield Plantation

Hi

never heard of the Mansfield plantation so cant help you there .

If I was you steer clear of the dead wood resturant . I had a terrible meal and the service was way poor .

If the coffee shop panini%26#39;s is still there thats a nice place . The big Tuna is also very good .

Take a trip to Hopswee plantation home its only about 7 miles from Georgetown well worth the visit . Another must would be Murrells inlet , and further down Myrtle beach . Enjoy your stay , looking forward to mine in june 2006

just type in search bar Mansfield plantation

they are rave reviews on this place , very nice indeed

Just got back from a 3 night stay at the Mansfield Plantation. My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and wanted a quiet, romantic place to stay. The Mansfield Plantation was a perfect choice for what were looking for.

The rooms were elegant and very comfortable. Breakfast was a treat as we ended up lingering well over an hour each day just talking with the other guests and Katheryn the inn keeper.

We especially loved the feeling of being away from everything even though we were only 10 minutes from downtown Georgetown. The 160+ year old live oaks lining the driveway didn%26#39;t hurt either!

If you%26#39;re looking for something that is quiet and feels like you%26#39;ve stepped back in time then you%26#39;ll love this place.

Thanks for the info, I am going down for a few days in July for our anniversary. Sounds great.

Windbinder,

Also did you do the ';romantic gataway'; package from Mansfield, if so was it worth it?

I didn%26#39;t do the ';romantic package.'; We were looking for a low-key weekend without lots of things planned out for us. We wanted to be free to lay in a hammock all day if the mood struck us.

I would definately recommend getting reservations to the Rice Paddy, though. Aside from the Mansfield Plantation the Rice Paddy was the highlight of our trip.
