MB Concierge,
You mentioned the Bistro District in another posting. I%26#39;m not familiar with that. Any more info? I wouldn%26#39;t wanna miss anything :)
The Bistro District
I guess its kinda like the ';new restaurant row';! The Bistro District (just read that in the Sun News) is the area from about 69th Ave N to about 82nd Ave N along Kings Hwy. We%26#39;ve had a number of ';tapas'; style places open up there lately, as well as some old favorites somewhat reinvent their menus to the ';tapas'; style of dining. Some of the restaurants in this area would be:
Collectors Cafe
The Palms
City Bar
Liberty Tap Room and Grille
San Francisco Oven
Villa Mare
Atlanta Bread
China Dragon
Cold Stone Creamery
Cheeseburger In Paradise
Bonefish Grille
Fiesta Mexicana
Flamingo Grille
Outback
Garcia%26#39;s
I know that you have more than likely frequented this area by staying at the Forest Dunes --- it just has a name now! lol
And dont worry, I wont let you miss anything!
:)
The Bistro District
Have not had the chance for tapas in MB but I%26#39;ll certainly plan that for September when we visit again.
Those of us who come back to MB time-after-time often get in a rut re-visiting our favorite places.
So little time.....so many restaurants :)
Ha! Even those of us who live in get in that same rut! About the only way to shake things up is if one of your ';usual%26#39;s'; closes, then you have to search for seomthing new! I tried a new place last night at Barefoot Landing called Fire Island....excellent skewers with different sauces, 2 skewers with a really tasty rice for only 12.99! Thats cheap for the beach! And that%26#39;s your choice of chicken, pork, beef, shrimp or swordfish. Yum!
:)
